Additions to lockdown takeaway options

Several venues, which have been forced to close during lockdown, have announced they will now be offering a takeaway service.

Spare Wheel churros

Town Centre pubs, the Spare Wheel, Document House, the Globe as well as another a little further out, the Hare and Hounds are now serving up food.

Each of the venues come with their own rules when it comes to pick up.

Document House - their take away service is available over the next few weekends with hours on Friday and Saturdays between 4pm - 9pm. On Sunday its 2pm - 5pm. You can order food, which includes two 12" pizzas for £12, via their App or by giving them a ring. More on their Facebook.

The Spare Wheel - burgers, giant pretzels, garlic bread, chilli and hot dogs feature on the menu at the Market Place venue. There are also a seriously good choice of puddings. Check out their menu for more info.

The Globe - the Bartholomew Street venue is back open on Thursday to Sundays with a tuck shop and pop up food stalls. Their offering changes depending on the day of the week and includes Fink Street, Pizza Pilot and burgers from Food By Hope and Colline's Kitchen. More details can be found on their social media.

Hare and Hounds - takeaway is available from the Speen hotel on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Its menu feels very much homemade with pies and Sunday roasts making up the choice as well as fish and chips. Take a look at their website for more info.
