All West Berks care home residents have had Covid jab
The roll out of the Covid vaccine hit a major milestone today with confirmation that all care home residents in West Berkshire have had their first jab.

At the same time, MP, Laura Farris, also revealed the news this evening that as well as all care home residents receiving the vaccine, all care home staff have also had an injection.
According to Laura: "We remain on track to complete those aged over 80 by Sunday 31 January. Next Monday, vaccinations begin for those aged over 75."

The Newbury vaccine centre at the Racecourse is spending the next couple of days working with Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to vaccinate some of their housebound patients before running more clinics towards the end of the week.
