Carol Vorderman thanks her Newbury heroes
Numbers queen, Carol Vorderman, had nothing but praise for her knights in shining armour from Newbury who saved her on the side of the M4.
According to the Daily Express the Countdown legend took to Twitter to tell her fans she was "safe and well" after tweeting about her unfortunate morning.
The 56-year-old and her son Cameron found themselves stuck on the hard shoulder after her car suffered a puncture.Sharing a snap of the problem in question with her 377,000 followers, Carol commented: "Yep that's definitely a puncture #M4… Thank you AA for saving us… #ColdOnTheBank."
Carol went on to tweet her appreciation for the help she got to get her back on the road and in particular the team at Kwik Fit in Newbury on London Road.
