Chance of snow increases
Newbury looks set to avoid the worst of the weather over the next few days as much of the south east faces an amber snow weather warning.
Sitting on the cusp of a yellow weather warning on Tuesday, Newbury will avoid much of the snow over the early part of the week before things changes mid-week.
The Met Office are saying that are keeping an eye on things in Newbury from Wednesday when snow is likely to hit coupled with a warning of strong winds.
From Thursday, there is potential for a spell of heavy snow, accompanied by strong winds, with a small chance that long delays and cancellations on bus, rail and air travel could occur. There is a slight chance that roads may become blocked by deep snow, with stranded vehicles and passengers.
