Doubts over future of two Newbury restaurants
The owners of both Bella Italia and Cafe Rouge have gone in to administration, forcing a number of the chain's restaurants to close.
It is understood that as many as 91 of 250 outlets will close, with administrators now reassessing the firm's finances.
The chain, Casual Dining Group, operates Bella Italia in the Market Place and Cafe Rouge in the Parkway. It had no announced when they would reopen either of the two sites.
No information about which restaurants will close has been revealed yet although at the time of writing on the Casual Dining Group website, Cafe Rouge is still listed in Newbury but Bella Italia is not.
