Eat Out to Help Out bargains

As a result of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, there are some serious bargains to be had when you dine out Monday to Wednesday during August.

One venue is offering more than the 50% off your bill per person up to a maximum of £10 and that is the Elephant at the Market. They have just announced that they will knock 50% off the bill for food and non-alcoholic drinks regardless if it goes over the Government's £10 threshold on Mondays to Wednesdays during August.

This means you could get an eight ounce Rib Eye Steak for just under £14 instead of the usual £26.95. According to the Elephant you can either book online or just turn up.

Meanwhile Bill's in the Market Place has launched a special all day set menu. They say you can enjoy two delicious courses for £15.95 or three courses for £19.95 (now £7.95 and £9.95 with the Chancellor's offer).

Of course there are some other gems out there as well. You can get a whole chicken for as low as £6 and a ten wing roulette for less than a fiver at Nandos which has just reopened for dine in guests in the Kennet Centre.

If you love a breakfast then head to Toby Carvery. There unlimited breakfast costs just £4.99. So stick a 50% off that and you are on to a winner.

Don't forget, you can see which venues near you are signed up to the scheme by clicking here.
