Elderly man robbed in Parkway bank



Thames Valley Police has released a CCTV image of a man who may have vital information in connection with a theft in Newbury.

The incident occurred at around 2pm on Thursday 29 March. The victim, a 94-year-old man, entered Barclays Bank in Parkway Shopping Centre. He was struggling to use a cash machine and another man offered to help him. After leaving, the elderly gentleman noticed that his wallet, with £200 inside, was missing and returned to the bank. On checking his account, £940 had been withdrawn.
