Grabbing a takeaway

Leaning against the bar and watching to make sure your elbows didn't land in a wet patch. Or chastising the fella in front who was blocking the bottom corner of the big screen while watching the football.

Oh they were simpler times weren't they?

We have all had to adapt to this new way of living, no more so than the many restaurants, pubs and cafes in Newbury Town Centre. To help them and to help you, here is a quick run-down of who is doing what when it comes to grabbing a takeaway.

Arigato - for those fancying some flavours of the East, then Arigato is cooking up gyoza, katsu curry and tempura prawns to name just a few treats. It's on Wednesday to Sunday and you have to pre-order.

Document House - these guys are offering up 2-4-1 pizza on Thursday at their place on Wharf Street. Other things on the menu that caught our eye was beef chilli nachos and lamb, rosemary and garlic burgers. The prices for their takeaway beer is looking good as well!
