Housing proposal for business park
A developer is looking to squeeze in 138 apartments in to an office building at the Newbury Business Park.
Lipman Properties want to swap desks and water coolers for divans and washing machines at Emerald House which sits near the entrance of the Park.
One and two-bedroom flats will feature within the scheme along with nearly 200 car parking spaces that is currently being mulled over by West Berkshire Council .
It is likely that there will be pressure on the Council to consider the consequences of permitting the change of use from office to residential accommodation with the loss yet more office space in Newbury.
