Kennet Centre airsoft arena provisional opening date revealed

More details have been revealed for what the new Zed Adventures airsoft arena is going to look like and when it will open.

The airsoft arena will open in the Kennet Centre at the unit that had been previously occupied by Debenhams with the first bookable event set for Sunday 20 September.

Airsoft is a competitive team shooting sport in which participants eliminate opposing players with spherical plastic projectiles launched via replica air weapons called airsoft guns.

Spread across two floors and totalling an estimated area nearly an acre of space. This includes a safe zone, indoor toilets, open plan game zone, winding corridors, dark stairwells, vaults and rat runs.

Organisers say they aim to be as competitive with prices as possible with the venue open Thursday, Saturdays and Sundays initially.

Their website goes on to say: "We’ll be aiming to please not only the casual airsofter but the hardcore CQB (Close Quarters Combat) fanatics, those after a different kind of airsoft day, private events, corporate events, old players, new players, rental players, speedsofters and hopefully those who want to take airsoft for what it is and should be – a fantastic day or evening out filled with banter & laughs!"
