Ministry of Science at the Corn Exchange

On Wednesday 10 July, Ministry of Science Live comes to the Corn Exchange Newbury with a bang and a whoosh in this not so ordinary science show for families.

Suitable for families with children aged 4 to 11 years, Ministry of Science Live is a new production that takes an anarchic approach to science communication whilst looking at the inventors and engineers who have shaped and inspired the modern world that we live in.  This includes educational and fun demonstrations of liquid nitrogen frozen flowers, hydrogen bottle rockets, the hovercraft, the discovery of methane and the invention of the battery.

With talented presenters and the voiceover from above (X Factor’s Peter Dickson), it will take you on a journey using brilliantly designed demonstrations with a few loud bangs to lead the way.

Fingers in ears advised for Ministry of Science Live at the Corn Exchange Newbury on Wednesday 10 July at 11am and 6pm. Tickets £17 (£15.50 under-16s, £58 family ticket, £12 schools) Age guide 4 – 11 years. To book tickets please visit the Corn Exchange website, or call the Box Office on 0845 5218 218 (calls cost 2p per minute plus your telephone company’s standard access charge).
