New independent eats opening

It looks like several new independent eats are about to spring up in the very near future in Newbury.

Among those bringing a taste of the Mediterranean is Ohan's.

They are located just a couple of doors along from Rio's takeaway and will specialise in wraps. The new place will also offer a load of other delicacies include Middle Eastern chicken and veggie options such as falafel and halloumi.

Meanwhile on Bartholomew Street, the former chicken and chips takeaway next to Pizza 2 Night is also re-opening.

The Chick King will this time will be operating as an Indian takeaway. Little else is know about the new venture.

Another taste of India is set to open on Cheap Street. The building that housed Nawab will now be home to Isham Indian Dining. A licence application is currently going through the motions at West Berkshire Council that will determine whether they can open. The Cheap Street restaurant does have a Facebook page.

It also looks like there is some activity in the former Lucky's restaurant but no other information is available.
