Online Christmas Craft Fair at The Base this weekend

The Base Greenham is holding their very first online Christmas Craft Fair, where shoppers can browse high quality Christmas gifts from local creators this weekend on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November.

Across the weekend The Base will be championing local artists and celebrating all things arts and crafts in a fantastic online Christmas shopping event. All vendors have been carefully curated to ensure there is a wide variety of different art forms represented.

Featuring across The Base’s website and social media platforms, there will be an array of different makers from the local area sharing their high-quality gifts and creations for shoppers to browse. Included in the list of craft makers are Peaches and Tea, featured in The Telegraph’s gift guide by the Senior Fashion Editor, who will be showcasing their handmade earrings and necklaces made from polymer clay. Artist and craft maker Sarah Jane Gordon, from Breathe and Flourish, will be sharing her work inspired by her love for the coast and the treasures of the shore line. John Brazendale is a ceramicist who will have a range of lily-inspired ceramic pieces for both house and garden and Tierney Bishop, a glass and mixed media artist, will have original creations to display outdoors that will make the perfect gift this Christmas.

Across the weekend all of the artists taking part will be showcased on The Base’s website www.thebasegreenham.co.uk, with different artists profiled on each day.

The event runs on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November, between 10am and 4pm, and there will be updates from the craft makers on The Base’s social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@thebasegreenham).
