Price increase for the Weekly News

The Newbury Weekly News will cost £1.20 from next week.

It currently costs £1 for 56 pages including a front page story in today's issue we published on Monday.

An article in today's paper reports that the publication can only have a sustainable future if they can fund their journalism in other ways given the decline they have faced in traditional advertising revenue.

It goes on to say: "So it is our sincere hope that you value your NWN enough to feel £1.20 is a fair price."
