Thousands head into town centre for day of fun
Thousands of visitors headed into the town centre today as events took place at Victoria Park and the Market Place.
At Victoria Park traditional Punch & Judy shows, face painting took place. Morris Dancing with the ‘Garston Gallopers’, dancing and singing on the Bandstand with the Ragtime Theatre School also proved popular.
The Royal Wootton Bassett Brass band pulled a healthy crowd as the afternoon closed.
Meanwhile live music and food stalls entertained the crowds at the Chilli event in the Market Place. Many people gathered to see the wide of market stalls, play DJ and watch as brave participants took part in a chilli eating competition.
