Updates from John Lewis and Kennet Centre
John Lewis in the Parkway and the Kennet Centre have shared updates on their re-opening plans.
According to John Lewis the Newbury store will not be opening on Monday 15 June, and it seems unlikely it will welcome any customers at all that week.
That's because the chain is re-opening just 13 of its stores on a trial basis next week. The first two being Kingston and Poole. They will be followed later in the week by High Wycombe and Horsham among others.
Meanwhile the Kennet Centre has asked that all of its visitors to keep to the left-hand side when inside the Centre and maintain a distance of two metres from other shoppers.
Additionally the shopping Centre toilets will remain closed until further notice.
Stores to be open from 15th June in the Kennet Centre are:
- Shaws Direct
- Newbury Models
- Country Garden Flower Company
- Isabel’s Retro & Vintage Clothing
- F. Hinds
- Zara Bayworth Clothing & Accessories (pop up)
- Raja Gift Mobile Phone Accessories (pop up)
Stores to be open 16th June:
- No. 96 Home & Gifts
